Still working on my letter! A little self-conscious because some of these ships are major characters where I've written a lot in previous letters, and some of them are minor characters where it's like "you know that one scene in canon? That but more please." I want both of them equally but I hope my creator won't be fased if some sections are a lot more verbose.

The only thing I can think is that they're classifying fic about five-minute fandoms like Humans Are Space Orcs, Snake Fight Portion of Your Thesis and similar where it's based on more of a concept than a fictional canon with established characters as original works.

fandomsecrets is slowing down but will never die, it's mixed anon/namespace but it's where I get out my bad fandom opinions in the offseason and it's always got open anon threads
Also there's a brand new heated rivalry kinkmeme at hockeyshowyaoi ; not into the gay hockey show but I really hope that one takes off and revives the old kinkmeme format for new fans.

Assignment: I think this turned out too long to get much interest, and either the existing fandom really had issues with the problematic side pairing, or they just generally don't show up with comments and kudos for fic. Recipient likes it though, so that's enough for me.
Treats: I wrote one more since I commented in that thread which did very well, but I did expect that it would because of the fandom it was for. The femslash did less well than I expected, but I'm still content with it. The one I thought wouldn't get a lot of attention but miiiight attract some comedy enjoyers was much more popular than I could ever have hoped!

If there were quality requirements for participants in exchanges, who would be asked not to participate? Or not to offer specific media.
That depends on how high you set the bar.
My lowest bar is just about on the floor; I'd exclude biblioscribler and bean10 from writing for anyone, ever, and septemberbells, queerintentions, and shnuffeluv from art beyond sketch exchanges.
If I was really god-king of exchanges, though, I'd set it a notch or two higher and exclude a few other writers.
