Morbane's coal

In quantum wankchanics, Morbane's coal is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, of quantum wankerposition. In the thought experiment, a hypothetical gift may be considered simultaneously both the fic of your dreams (TFOYD) and coal, while it is unread state, as a result of its fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur.

The Coaltide interpretation implies that, after a while, the gift is simultaneously TFOYD and coal. Yet, when a coalie clicks on their gift, the coalie sees the gift either TFOYD or coal, not both TFOYD and coal. This poses the question of when exactly quantum wankerposition ends and reality resolves into one possibility or the other.

...and, okay, how about a fic that adds an interesting magical element to an otherwise mundane canon?

I like to write and rubberneck fandom drama.

I didn't sign up and only wrote pinch hits this year.
Some seem to be well received by the recipients plus one or two readers who left kudos which is good expecially one of the fandoms which has only about 20 fics in it so I expected low hits.
But another PH was a new-to-me fandom I had to consume before writing and even though I answered the prompt EXACTLY, like "write me this!" which I did literally exactly, I think the recip is disappointed by their flat comment. I thought it was funny and I was happy with how it came out and out of all the PH I wrote this one I worked hardest on because I had to wrap my head around the canon. But it was unclaimed for ages so I thought I was doing a good thing since I had access to the canon, but I think maybe I shouldn't have claimed it and given the recip something they don't like. Shouldn't have bothered and might orphan it before reveals.

It’s not just harmlessly stating your opinion, by saying “this fandom is so misogynistic” or “m/m is more popular bc misogyny” you are encouraging people to look at that fandom, or m/m shippers, with suspicion. And mostly female m/m shippers, bc lbr no one’s telling men in fandom they should write more lesbian porn. So here we are back at “these terrible fetishising fujos, why don’t they get off to more virtuous porn” and that’s not really a progressive feminist place to be in.

It really is funny how it always manifests as scolding and blaming women, isn't it.
