Not an extraordinarily bad writer. Frankly, in Yuletide, she's probably only in the bottom 20% - so many people do this challenge whose skills are very rusty or unpolished. She's unremarkable.

This is a very stupid metric. I have gotten 10k+ works in exchanges with a 1-2 week writing period that were better than 1k gifts I've gotten in exchanges with multi-month writing periods.

Agreed. I did think her fics were pretty bad (I am not fishspeakers, I promise) but they were blah in a Landlord Approved Greige Hallway sort of way, not in any way that would attract wank like Gheyn, Untherius, heeroluva, rosefox etc. Except for the rejected one, since rejected fics always attract some level of discussion when people notice them.

I didn't come out to bat for how she can write, just that it's very possible for (other) people to write 10k in a week and have it be excellent quality that people would want.
