My recip has a great taste in problematic lesbians so I'm writing them Did Not Expect to Run Into My Evil Ex Here: Yuri Edition. Problem is, I don't actually know what 'here' would be the funniest. General setting is modern day US, both women are in their early 30s, haven't seen each other in years, and they'd have to be stuck together for long enough to exchange some sexy hostilities, maybe do some problem-solving, and then fuck about their issues. Any suggestions?

Both accidentally signed up for the same multi-day course or convention - writers' retreat, first aid or survival training, work convention, etc. - where they're stuck staying at the same hotel or camping site together. (If there's no plausible overlap in work or hobbies then you can always go for the fun alternative of two completely disparate groups having booked the same place at the same time, which gives you lots of excuses for clashes and being short on bedrooms because somebody's screwed up the bookings.)

Stuff that emphasizes the dynamic can be good, if you don't want get into specific acts. Like the person in the dom role telling the sub what position to get into, how to do things (how to perform oral, how to lube themself up, whatever is appropriate). Maybe some manhandling, like firmly putting the person in the sub role against the wall or holding them down on the bed. Acting like they're in charge and know what the other person wants and likes, things like that.

Basically make the dom like the alpha male in a het romance novel, lol.
