If you actually wanted to do this in a non-shit-stirry way you could say something like "I've recently been concerned about reports of some exchange mods sharing participants' private communications with them to large groups. Do you have any confidentially rules for your team to prevent that?" And leave it there.

The mods have answered and are going to put out an official statement soon. So I'd say this was a success.

Dude, everybody reads Coal flatmeme: you don't need to c+p a reply on every related thread.

Also, cyrt in this thread didn't mods wouldn't reply? they just offered better wording and said the mods were on coal had already seen it either way. Which is probably true, given how quickly they replied. And the mods themselves politely noted that OP could have presented their complaint in a less shit-stirry way and still gotten results....

If mods on that server are going to keep derailing here they deserve someone (who was not me) answering their every single derailing comment with the link to the Yuletide mods taking it seriously.
