From upthread, EO later said this when he got pushback about this:

"Yeah I can’t really keep going on this personally because it’s a sore spot for me to get this into the weeds of whether my word choices are the perfect ones for a situation so I’m going to mute, but I do just want to say that I’m operating from the “untrue” definition especially when it’s making accusations about others"

Incredibly funny that he would try to do this after accusing the recip of lying so emphatically and in phrases like "bad faith straight up lie" where the possibility that he might be using "lie" in some neutral way that describes only untruth and not intentional deception is not merely slim, it is zero.

If this was a sore spot for EO, EO never should've participated in the conversation to begin with.

The sore spot is people scrutinizing their word choice. They talk a lot about being neurodivergent and my impression is they play that card a lot to shrug off responsibility for their actions because they think whatever condition they have that makes them struggle with word choice makes whatever they say irreproachable.

I'm neurodivergent; I would hazard a guess that many people in the exchange scene are as well. It's ridiculous to act like it's not obvious when your wording is being scrutinized due to you being judged for not following the social group's norms, and when it's scrutinized because it deserves scrutiny. (I'm directing this at him, not you, cirt.)
