I uploaded a bus pass, and I thought I was going to have some time to edit it before reveals. Turns out I got an awful bout of the flu. And if you haven't had the flu before, it's no joke. It's like having the cold but 5x worse. Literally the sickest I've been in my life and it was significantly worse than COVID. I started feeling better today and was going to edit it but my recip just commented. :(

Treat ambitions game

Reply with the names of people you wanted to create treats for, where you couldn’t quite pull it off (because of time, excess ambition, lack of access to canon, etc)

You can go into detail about which canons and which prompts but you don’t have to.

Aim: let people know that their prompts were at least inspiring. Or make people sad that they only just missed out. I don’t control coal neuroses.

-I'm happy to get a single comment
-I'm happy to get a short comment
-I will occasionally write for noncommenters if I brace myself for it
-I like getting a comment soon after the collection opens, but I don't start to feel aggrieved about any lack until after the anon period ends
-It does not bother me if I don't get a lot of kudos (actually, I only notice kudos as a reassurance if it takes a while to get a comment)
-I like it when my recipient gets other gifts
-I'm happy to be one of several fics for the fandom/pairing
-I am happy with blank sign-ups

Awkward. I'd ask myself why they blocked me, whether it's because they disapprove of the things I usually write (in which case I'd shrug and move on) or because something I did in namespace that they found wanky (unlikely but not impossible, but it might make me regret that behavior if I could pinpoint it, and I'd probably put the gift in the anon collection).

On the other hand, if it was there other way around, it would be hilarious if the person I blocked found out that way.

I haven't seen any 1 fic recced repeatedly enough to be considered to have won this year. I also haven't (personally) seen any fics trying to, as in, no premises that are that out there really. It's early days, but usually if there's an outlier it's already been found...
