Oh, the original Assault on Precinct 13, the one from 1976 and directed by John Carpenter, is DEFINITELY a horror movie. The remake is a YMMV case, I guess.

It is. I don't know the original, but the 2005 version doesn't really have any horror genre elements I could think of.

I'll be honest, I just missed the date when I put that movie in the list. I haven't seen the remake, and I have no opinion on whether it's horror.
