How did yours turn out?

Very pleased, multiple different options, someone I know already! Will have to figure out which i'm most in the mood for.

It's tolerable! They gave me nothing to work with, but their likes won't break me, and I can absolutely work with that.

I matched on the fandom I expected as it was the only one that was requested in the signup summary (I was secretly hoping that a last minute request would pop up in my other offered fandoms though).

They want to read your take on the idea, nonnie.

I got into several new canons via promo this year, and offered some I particularly liked. I got one, and I'm very excited to write for it!

Amazing! I didn't think I had any real chance of matching this recip, but I am so incredibly glad I did - we've got three fandoms in common that I've written for them before, and two I'm not familiar with. So I think my goal for this year has just become writing them a gift in each fandom I know, with a stretch goal of picking up the other two and writing them a gift in literally every fandom they've asked for. *rolls up sleeves*

I wouldn't read it. I'd just do my own take.

As expected! I'm not totally hyped just now because, in some ways, seeing a letter means the excitement has already been and gone, but I'm sure that during research and writing something will bubble up!

It's pretty obvious the fandom they most wanted wasn't the one I got, and the prompt in the one I got was light years away from anything I was expecting, but I can cobble something decent enough out of it, so I'll be okay.

I like it! There's a more comprehensive list of DNW's than I usually get. Nothing unworkable, but I think it's the first time I'll get a second pair of eyes for DNW purposes.

Now just crossing my fingers I like the canon as much as I remember!

My first ever no optional details assignment. Fortunately for a fandom I'm very comfortable with and have plenty of ideas for, but I'll have to think about which I'm willing to throw at someone as a gift...

I got exactly the assignment I expected to get. The good: I have written for the person before, they like my work in that fandom, they have good prompts, and we both have it as a fandom of our heart. The bad: it's not the fandom I was itching to write.

I matched on the fandom I expected too but also my recipient writes fic about a celebrity I find morally reprehensible so idk if I am going to complete it or break my ten year no default streak

I can't remember how it usually goes, and I'm not able to use Discord so I can't see if it's been mentioned there, but: do IPHs usually go out directly after assignments, or will there be a few hours or more in between?

Got the assignment I was tempted to game for but decided not to because I'm a good little coalie. Fate rewards the virtuous it seems!
