ITT Fandoms you hope someone requests again because you meant to treat last year but failed to for some reason.

Bonus points if you give some hint about what you're hoping gets requested in those fandoms.

Double bonus points for fandoms that you meant to treat in earlier exchanges this year but you didn't and now Yuletide is your last mea culpa for 2020.

I keep hoping the In Bruges requester asks for it again. It might not have been originally requested at Yuletide, but maybe Chocbox or something. I wanted to treat and didn't have time, and it keeps getting nommed but nobody requests it! I adored that movie and really want to write somebody some awkward, funny and hot smut.

Witcher sex pollen smut. REQUEST IT AGAIN.

The Terror's out this year. The Old Guard isn't yet, but it will be by the time noms roll around.

Aren't those TV ships? The Witcher (TV) is way too big for Yuletide anymore.

What wanks do you think we'll get this year, coal?

I think that someone will troll the socktopus like ff_d and ars_belli were trolled. It will most likely go "too far" and end up getting them an extra gift, which will make everyone mad at the person that tried to make a name for themselves by doing it in the first place.

We are definitely going to have some hypothetical question wank where coalies/nonnies get too paranoid about thinking that it's their author. I don't think another round of poly or no canon relationships wank will get much traction. I think we're going to get something niche that people get really upset over, like what counts as established relationship or mental illness.

There will be some mini-challenge that gets people mad.

Tag shaking will reveal something that makes a recip dislike their gift before reading.

Someone will write COVID-19 fic in a way that isn't sensitive at all thinking that they've tapped into the zeitgeist.

Now that MFTF isn't appearing and nonnies seem sad about it, I think one of the BFE "clique" members will make an exchange that runs adjacent to Yuletide which will make the "Yuletide is Dying" crowd lose their minds. That or there will be a flash exchange that encourages people to request the exact same things as Yuletide and there will be wank over the flash authors having an advantage because what if they pick the prompt that the Yuletide author also picked and now their fic will go live before/at the same time as the Yuletide author's and steals their thunder?????

The MFTF replacement will be called "Festivus for the Restofus" and it'll be Yuletide date for date the same as Yuletide but there's no rareity requirement, it matches on relationships, and OW is allowed for maximum wank.

Oh wow, so it is! I swear it has several hundred to go when I looked just a couple of weeks ago...

Someone will start identity wank again, because someone always fucking does and others are incapable of ignoring the troll.

This coal is a lot better at ignoring it. I think a lot of the people who quit old!coal because of the trolling (totally reasonable imo) were the ones who couldn't ignore bait and so now that asshole has no one left who is willing to be earnest with them.

Someone will write an unasked for trans headcanon fic. Probably for someone who DNWs it, too.

Socktopus will write someone something that's clearly opt-in but that their recip didn't think to DNW.

_coal will wank over whether it's really opt-in until reveals, at which point opinion will ~magically~ shift to how much Socktopus sucks.

(Or soarc will get imported to Yuletide and we can all have a Sucktopus-free Yuletide, which will be lovely.)

Some of my favorite fics have combined Crueltide and Yuleporn so I'm looking forward to them both.
