I'm excited to find out who my author was (although I'm pretty sure I know already), but TBH, I'm also excited to start getting responses from people whose works I commented on. I left at least 10-15 comments, pretty detailed ones, on a flurry of works, and I'm hoping that once the anon period is over, I'll get at least a few responses back.

i don’t want to be even peripheral to wank, sorry. in their defense, it was a “i know they’re doctors but please no needles” type of dnw, and knowing who they are, they’re clearly very into the surgery scenes. but it was a treat, and i did specifically ask.

Got a subscription notice from an author only to realize that I had already commented on the work while it was anon. It was for a different fandom than the one I subscribed to them for too! Heh. Good to know I consistently enjoy their stuff.

Whoa, did not expect to like multiple fics written by someone who's involved in drama in the fandom recently. Awkward, but I've thankfully fallen out of the fandom and I'm only vaguely aware of the wank and have no personal grudge against them.
