Eccarius is a Lestat-style vampire that Cassidy meets (the first one of his kind that he has ever meet!!!!!) and quickly falls in love with. Actual love, as in they make out more than once and actually date. No spoilers for the rest/how it goes.

I agree on the canon ships and slash side, coalie! I've read some good ones in multiple fandoms...The Sting, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Tombstone, God's Own Country, Top Gun, just for starters. I've barely even scratched the surface. Going to dive in deeper now that family obligations are over for the season.

Can I just say this thread is why I love coal/what I think coal looks like at its best.

Someone bitched > another person used it to say that actually, they're having a good time, what are your fandoms > different person asked for recs for fandoms to get into > recs were delivered promptly and later expanded upon, including giving links > two random coalies went down a niche fandom memory lane off a one-off mention somebody else made to begin with

Yeah, it's bad. I'm really surprised at the number of people who were rewriting their fics after reveals and how many people didn't stick to DNWs or requested characters or settings. Were there a lot of newbs this year?
