Gackt literally wrote the film himself because he wanted he and Hyde to work together. He basically harassed into costaring, made sure their weird love story was as wangsty as ever, and then got Hyde to drop a ballad duet with him too.

Peak J-rock/J-pop era was such a wild time to be a m/m weeb. These modern kpop kids will just never get it. Johnny's Entertainment alone feels like a whole different universe looking, back.
