doing Yuletide and actually coming across the other person who already knows it and is passionate about it

Remember when you said "some fandoms are just that rare"? Some of us never experience what you said here because there is no one but us who's passionate about our fandoms, not even in Yuletide. That's why requesting our stuff in ToT and requesting our stuff in Yuletide is exactly the same. We're going to be a lingering IPH until someone takes pity and consumes our canon either way.
