Scrolling the app yesterday, I came across someone who put "no" in front of each DNW, resulting in a list along the lines of "DNWs: no character death, no graphic violence," etc. I hope they don't get someone who takes those double negatives literally!

One year I had literally only one DNW for a specific fandom and my writer wrote me that DNW. To this day I wonder if it’s because they didn’t understand what a DNW is because I didn’t put the meaning of the acronym next to it. I now always decipher it in brackets.
