Also it's a 500 word minimum, so if removing the copy-paste took it under or close to minimum most mods would eph.

Haven't read the fic so dunno, and it also sounds like the recip didn't explain the problem really clearly but based in on what's in coal it sounds marginal enough that the recip was valid to ask and the mod was valid to refuse. (It's the other stuff the mod did that wasn't.)

As a coalie who read the fic, that's about right. There was one mention of a specific character trait found in the letter, but it read like an awkward attempt at hinting at the recipient's likes rather than plagiarism. I get the recip asking and I agree it didn't warrant an EPH.
The rest was fucked up.
