I'm kind of bummed out about just how dead the Yuletide discord is or the threads on ffa. I like this place sometimes but I'd rather talk about the exchange(s) than scroll through a lot of shitposting.

I would like to be the change but honestly I'm not sure what to say. I would like there to be more conversations on Discord but I don't actually want to catch the attention of Trialia or Beatrice_Otter or certain others, even though some of the people there seem fine and I wouldn't mind talking more with them.

Anyway: a vent.

I have had YT discord muted for years because I can't stand Trialia.

You missed the recent years she was gone because she was hurt at them (allegedly) banning her from beta reading.

But she's back this year. She doesn't even post that much and seems to be making an effort to relate her voluminous comments about her life to whatever topic is at hand, so compared to dead silence I can't even complain about her really. I just have issues with family members who trap you while rambling at you so every time I see her start to type, I want to back away into the bushes, whether it's justified or not.

yeah i have to sadly agree about discord. tried it, but there are just too many clowns over there. hard to figure out if some of them are trolling or just really clueless sometimes.
