How do you propose to keep sports fair for women?

Easy. Everyone with testosterone lower than whatever competes as a woman, because that is all that matters, right?

Other than that it seems to me that not having to document genitalia when the others don't would be fair as well.

I would go by the metric of "anyone who registers as THIS gender and has done so sufficiently in advance of the competition and has not competed as THAT gender in a specific window of time before the competition".

Because living as a different gender than other parts of society say you are is not something people do at the drop of a hat and it's ridiculous to treat trans athletes' inclusion as a slippery slope that means women's medals and prizes are gonna get stolen by men who couldn't win in their own category.

I don't know how to sensibly and fairly deal with nonbinary folks. Someone else can figure that out.

It’s not fair for men in sports and no cares, so why do we need to police women at all?

Michael Phelps has freakishly long arms and double jointed ankles giving a huge advantage over other male swimmers, weird that he’s allowed to compete against normal men.

The double standard on this just reminds me of the whole battle of the sexes shit. Where it was a whole thing that women had to prove themselves by beating men in sports, and now the script has flipped and they’ve convinced people including other women that to save women in sports from women succeeding that those successes have to not actually bedone by woman at all but secret men. Because women are weak or something and you’ve bought into it hook line and sinker.

We could also just make sports that women do better at than men.

As to your last paragraph, you clearly have no clue about sport. Take a look at competitors' times sometime; no need to get bogged down in the challenge of trying to assess other types of competitions.

Oh no someone thinks women need more barriers to doing sports than men because secret extra scary men could be hiding in shadows. So scary.

Currently, any man could enter the women's competition in most sports and in this way, take a space that should belong to a woman. There's your extra barrier. There's nothing "extra scary" required. Just any random man who'd rather compete in the women's than the men's.

The number of "random men" who would do that is effectively zero, which you know, because this is entirely about you being an anti-trans bigot. We've all seen through your clever disguise.

There's no disguise. There's just no difference between a man who identifies as a woman and any other man. They're the same. It's being male that means you shouldn't be competing in the female races. Your internal identification makes no difference.

That's a lot of cases for something that's not real and doesn't happen.

Does that account for the idea that if the competitions have one category instead of two, they're handing out half the number of medals?
