Unless they were obvious commenting on other stuff and not yours, or they rejected it or something, I really wouldn't take lack of comment as a judgement on your gift. "Blank signups are fine" people are way more likely to also be "commenting is optional". (Also way more likely to be "wasn't particularly invested, never went back for my gift" people.) Likely they wouldn't have commented regardless. Which are other reasons I don't waste much thought on their "likes."
