no, the comment i was replying to references ars_belli, who stank up yuletide until 2018. that situation went on way too long and it's entirely because mods are too cowardly to just ban people and own their reasoning why.

No. Aurae is a completely different kettle of (cuttle)fish to random racists. She put a lot of effort into a large ring of socks and it took a long time to amass enough evidence that they were all her. It is fine, actually, that mods had hesitation about banning, say, this new account that just happened to like this corner of Star Wars + one other thing.
