Does it have to be an actual cosmic horror? Would something that seems like a cosmic horror that results in investigation and being accidentally locked in a cupboard for enforced proximity sexy times and then turns out to just have been stray cats or a janitor making moonshine work?

It would be a lot funnier if it was actually cosmic horror but like the red sheep pacifist of the horror family. Spooky try hard. So embarrassing for everyone involved.
