It isn't going to happen because SweetSorcery has a fandom BFF who would probably write for her, but I really would like it if SS were the last person to get a gift in an exchange/etc one day, just for the irony.

They're the person who used to give really low-quality wallpapers and then delete the gifts after a certain amount of time. Which is technically breaking the rules and they are lucky that they never got banned for that.

A little less participation than last year. Any ideas for why there’s a dip?
No? This year has 38 IPHs from 505 signups; last year had 42 / 561. Seems pretty consistent.
I think that's probably pretty normal for the second year of any exchange. People get exited about taking part the first time around, then the buzz dies down a bit second time out. I figure there's probably always some natural churn of people who had an unsatisfying experience last time for whatever individual reason (too close to Yuletide for them to juggle, were hoping to see different writers in their fandoms and didn't, just got a crap gift and lost enthusiasm) and then without the boost of it being a new and shiny exchange in its first year you don't get quite enough new people being drawn in to balance that out.
CYRT Fair enough! I myself didn't sign up last year because I didn't realize that there was an alternate to Chocolate Box in time. I'm still a little sad that it looks like Chocolate Box is gone even if this is functionally the same.
