fishspeakers is obviously writing deliberately poorly as part of the bit, so you should get an EPH for their Yuletide recip now that it's out of the bag.

Or in case they spite-delete their fic at the last minute because of this fail.

I can totally see her flouncing to cause drama.

I don't think she's writing deliberately poorly, but I definitely think Yuletide mods should keep an eye on her. Actually, I hope exchange mods will ban her for future exchanges under the generic "don't be an asshole" rule.

I definitely think she is, given that the whole "her writing is shit!" self-trolling started before she'd posted anything publicly.

Her writing is incredibly weak and mediocre though.

I may be wrong, considering that now she's self-trolling even here, but my assumption was that she was insulting her writing because she wanted other people to defend and compliment her. Of course, at first nobody had seen her fics, so all people could say was "let's not judge her writing based on her Discord messages". But after FIAB collection opened, I think she genuinely wanted others to tell "the troll" that her writing was good, actually.
Basically, I don't think she's writing bad fic on purpose. I think she wants people to notice her fics and tell her that she's doing fine. Same thing she does in namespace with all her "oh no, what if my recip hates it?", etc.

She's not writing bad fic on purpose, but her fic isn't good either.

I felt so bad for her Fic in the Box recips. Her gifts were absolute ass, and they absolutely deserved better.

I didn't think they were ass, the SPAG and plotting and whatever were fine. Her fics are just kind of....dull. Mediocre. Like I wouldn't reject one if I had gotten it, but I wouldn't leave a really enthusiastic comment either.
