I always keep an eye on what's being nominated/requested for the longfic exchanges and try to treat! I tend to have better luck with things that are either specifically geared towards rare fandoms/pairings or have a very large pool of participants, though, since my fandoms all skew Yuletide-sized.

Fandom rarity is why I've never done the TC exchanges even though I love to write and read longfic. I seem to see a bias towards exchange popular fandoms in TC, none of which I'm interested in, and the thought of getting 10k of my safety fandom time after time after time is too depressing to contemplate.
