Who do you want to receive fic from this Yuletide?

Based on the signup summary, only one of my fandoms had an offer, and I think I know the only person offering it, and it’s not that they’re bad or anything but my dream author at this point is just literally anybody else, because I want an actual surprise, dang it.

I'm not fussed about it being a surprise, but I'm in a similar situation and feel the same way. The person likely offering is a good writer, but their ids in that fandom has historically been just a little to the left of mine.

The question was “who do you want to receive fic from this Yuletide?” and their answer is “anyone”. Phrase the question better.

I’d love to discover Scioscribe is somehow in one of my tiny tiny fandoms and has been dying to write xyz all along.

There is a small chance that Dorinda could be my author and that would pretty much make my year.

I want to discover a new fun author! I don't know you and our paths have never crossed before, and our overlap is just this little moment of time.

I know that the author of my all-time favourite gift from chocolate box is into a fandom I requested and I pray we matched - or that they'll have at least time to treat me!! Their peculiar writing style + that fandom would genuinely make my year.

Literally anyone except the person who keeps writing me fic that's the Mirror Universe version of my taste. I'll even take dewclaws over another fic from them.

Untherius, no sarcasm. Especially if it was a super-weird one. It'd give me a good, funny story to tell, and I'd be the sympathetic character of the day on meme :)

I have to give Untherius credit - his latest contributions have been pretty good. I liked his Paint Your Wagon story last year.

I was shocked at author reveals. But the story was good? Does not compute.

The very cool acquaintance who was intrigued when I mentioned one of my requests was a fandom this year, because I hope she’ll write me the weird thing I want for it.

I can't name names without breaking anonymity but I went out as an emergency pinch hit one time and the person who wrote that wrote the most superb fic, and I would really like them to write for me again but with much more time to write.

You could have just said their name and left out the rest and not deanonned.
