Not that coalie, but I kind of get why they're complaining. IDGAF about the canon one way or the other, but a LOT of the fans are completely insufferable. I recently blocked someone who was getting snotty about those of us who aren't into OFMD, as if we were somehow ~homophobic for not worshiping the ~most perfect and amazing gay rep ever!

Look, the canon has gay characters and a gay romance, true. But it's not the be-all and end-all of rep. Now I'm going to go concentrate on Yuletide and my tiny fandoms, most of which are also gay.

I'm neutral on the show, but I agree with coalie above about the bloody fans. I resent people trying to make me be fannish about ANYTHING. It didn't work with MCU and Star Wars and it won't work with this.
