Timing probably doesn't help either, given they went out pretty late Sunday night/early hours of Monday for many people. (UK time it was after 3am and we've only just hit the end of the following workday, so probably a lot of people have barely had a chance to look yet.)

I've been there! Knowing that, I use that as a carrot to finish my actual assignment and then I write a treat for the fandom I really wanted to write.

Can you vague about the fandom? I saw one of those for a fandom I wanted to offer and had to unoffer it because of the misuse of any.

Yeah, it would probably be pretty interesting to see the Yuletide demographics, actually. I'm assuming Europe plus US probably covers a reasonably big chunk of the activity, but who knows? Not sure how much you can even generalise from surveys on AO3 or former LiveJournal fandom because Yuletide's a little bit its own beast by now.
