(Anonymous) 2019-12-10 04:08 am (UTC)(link)Unfortunately, the treat I'm writing is stuck at >12k, and I don't know how to fix it. (I think my best option is to focus on one element of the fic and cut the rest, but that's not so straightforward.) At this rate, I'm pessimistic about actually finishing by the 25th :(
I'm pretty invested in the concept, and I don't want to post a treat that's not as good as it could be, but I also don't want to wait for NYR or for this person to potentially request the canon next year. The canon (which I just discovered this year) has no existing AO3 fics and this person has been requesting it for a long time, and it'd be really satisfying to finally fill the request....
