How odd. I wonder if they posted it somewhere for crit/concrit because those comments are harsh if they were unsolicited (and iirc, D_J had been talking in the discord about wanting a concrit exchange or something along those lines)

DC Something like this happened to me multiple times in the past because I'm not into Critical Role. Same with "critters" as a discord channel name in multifandom servers - could be cat pics or Critical Role fans, but I can never be sure.

Sounds like it might be the fic from this incident (Disjunction Junction quote from YT discord, posted on FFA):

I’ve recently had to reconsider whether my current fic should be a treat, given its unexpectedly dark themes and violent direction. Upon reading over what I currently have of my first draft, I’m starting to wonder if I’ve unconsciously been writing a hate fic the entire time. The feeling of having written what is turning into an exercise in sadism is really starting to wear down on my motivation to write more.
