I think it's good to have a place for treats that are seriously under the thousand word minimum, like drabbles or whatever and I guess I understand the people who don't want their treats elevated to gifts even though that wouldn't bother me at all, so I think Madness has its place. But in general I agree with you: treats over a thousand words should be in the main collection.
