I've matched to past mods (neither is a current mod, but we matched when they were mods) in both directions! The fic written for me managed to encompass all the things I remembered loving about the canon which I requested in a fit of nostalgia (despite having forgotten most details about it) - and I just went and re-read it, and it made me feel all happy again.

I didn't feel pressure when I was assigned to write for a mod because their request was so great and the canon was something I really enjoyed, and I was happy with what I wrote and got a lot of nice comments, so yay.
