Don't Stop Coal Now!

Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real coal time
I feel alive
And the exchange I'll turn it inside out, yeah
I'm floating around in agony
So, (don't stop me now)
(Don't stop me)
'Cause I'm having a coal time, having a coal time~

Yes but what if they sniffed out your real name/address/school/work and start posting about it on twitter or SWATing you? It feels like you aren't aware of what happens sometimes when content gets tossed into the wrong crowd. Like, if you randomly took a specific gay children's book to a Westboro Church sermon, those people can and will start showing up at all the authors events and will keep doing it until that dies, and then they will show up at their funeral too.

Most days it isn't just "flames", it's people doxxing you, constantly gifting you weird shit, trying to get you fired, etc.

I mean... that's always a risk with anything you do online, no? Any right-wing nutjob could find your fic and incite a mob against you at any moment. Or some random fan with a Twitter account could rec your fic and it could spread through the Twitterverse just as easily as if the canon creator did it. Just feels a bit tenuous to link it specifically to the canon creator finding your fic, especially if the creator just comments on the fic or something rather than tweeting it out.
