I suspect the writer just didn't know how to post to an AO3 collection and didn't actually mean to give it to them-- four times, was it? But still, wow.

I'm glad she got an actual gift and that it seems like she mostly thinks the whole thing is hilarious, buy it does kind of suck to go from thinking you're getting four gifts down to only getting one

There are bookmarks from Morbane dated December 18th, asking the author to contact the mods. I thought the mods had everyone's email address??

Bookmarks are a terrible way to contact writers. You don't get a notification, you have to be actively looking at your bookmarks.

Since these were made before work reveals, I don't even know if the author could have seen them.

It’s the only way you can leave a “note”. You can bookmark unrevealed works but you can’t comment on them.

They should have just kicked them out at the default deadline and not given these authors any time.

It was a treat, and it looks like from a non-participant otherwise, so they wouldn't necessarily.

This whole thing is so weird! It's one of the only works on that account, it's not like they're a prolific yuletide regular, why so insistent about this one treat for a random music video?
