Most people in exchanges wouldn't write unrequested trans fic unless it was for a fandom where girl!character fics are predominantly trans girl, however if years of coal have taught us anything it's that there is never a default assumption for anything, so it is better to either be specific about what you do want, or dnw what you don't.
