There’s like 5 mod wanglers who are allowed to canonize fandoms and none of them are Yuletide mods. There are very clear guidelines on how to canonize fandoms so anyone could do it, but they gatekeep that very hard and you will get your ass yelled at if you go rogue and step on their special power.

They're right about the limits on who can wrangle fandoms; believe me if anyone could it would have been done weeks ago.

No, it wasn't done weeks ago because you can't wrangle a fandom for an unrevealed work. The misinformation ITT...

They didn’t say early, they said the reason is is being done slowly NOW is because even though every wrangler has the ability and guidance to tackle them, only a handful of mod wranglers are allowed to do it. If all those people are busy/lazy, it takes a while.

Yes, the point is that yr average wrangler thinks that's a dumb rule, and would ignore if allowed in the bin.

(Which admittedly is probably part of why they restrict who can go in the bin.)
