You should be careful, but at the same time, not everyone lists their favorite 200 kinks in their likes. Most people's optional details are pretty short and don't cover everything they might like ever. If they dont DNW it and are open to PWP, I'd say go for it.

Looking at your recip's bookmarks and/or works might help, if they have any with that kink.
