It’s an okay story. Standard Steve/Bucky with Steve pining for Peggy and Bucky pining for Steve, except in the past instead of the present day.

The canon and characters were eligible, the recip requested it, the author wrote it. Pretty straightforward.

Eh, whatever. There are 16 works under the "MCU" fandom label in Yuletide. Some of them are What If episodes synned to MCU. Some of them are Shang-Chi. Some of them are tagged with both What If and MCU. One of them is an Avengers/Mayhem Insurance Commercials crossover. None of them is tagged with MCU alone. I'm not really seeing the issue.

Yeah it’s not the fact that it’s MCU-related that bothers me so much, just that they managed to request Stucky.
