That really depends on the fandom. Most of my fandoms would work far better as MCU crossovers than SPN crossovers. I wouldn't particularly enjoy receiving either, but "... and also, superheroes exist and [characters from my canon] have to help save the world as Steve and Bucky kiss in the background" would fit MUCH more smoothly into nears all of my canons than "... and also, demons exist and those two guys are hunting them".

Sure, there's lots of canons where SPN isn't a natural fit. But they also have canon crossovers where they are literally sucked into fictional worlds where everything is different, so technically it's all already SPN canon. "These weirdos chased a demon through a swirly portal" works for everything.

I mean if you hate swirly-portal crossovers or you just like MCU better fair enough though. And a setting-swao crossover that puts your characters in another role without introducing canon chars from that world, I'd take Superhero over Hunter any day (I think I'd still prefer Generic Superhero to MCU though, MCU is just such a sprawling mess these days.)
