Other Zoom Court incidents going down in history include (on a more serious note) the time a quick-thinking prosecutor realized the victim and the defendant in a domestic violence case were Zooming in from the same room [https://metro.co.uk/2021/03/09/alleged-abuser-caught-in-same-house-as-victim-during-zoom-hearing-14213033/] and (funny again) the surgeon who appeared virtually in traffic court while operating on a patient [https://www.abc10.com/article/news/local/sacramento/surgeon-operating-during-virtual-traffic-court/103-316109cd-4225-46ac-aec6-f488c14e6201]. I think the surgeon was hoping the judge would dismiss the ticket after seeing how "important" he was; instead, he's being investigated by the California Medical Board. Judges, as a general rule, have a very low tolerance for bullshit.
