Oh I remember that case! Naruto v. Slater – incredible name. PETA wading in as usual and getting slapped down hard by the 9th Circuit. Thanks! I'd completely forgotten about it. My recip also requested livestock being awesome, so the "can you sue on behalf of an animal" question is definitely making it in!
