If I'm gaming for feedback and one is a notably infamous or BNF I'll gift to them; otherwise I write what I want and pick the recip who matches best.

(I use a beta for DNWs now since I don't pay overly close attention to them when I'm treating. And that led to a gift I never posted because I misremembered monsterfucking + m/f breeding/impregnation dnw as having been a prompt. The story was hot! But now looking at it embarrasses ME so it will probably never see the light of day.)

Yeah, the same thing happened to me once when someone had a handful of bland, undetailed prompts but super-detailed (and rtmi) dnws.
