I mean, okay? I'll choose violence I guess. I did a search of my inbox since I've been a tracking coalie since 2012 and here are all the anonfails I've got.

Anyone else I listed are people I have seen mention coal on IRC/discord over the years in more than a "oh just avoid that place" acknowledgment of existing, so I'm assuming they've at least been linked here. Since I am not about to go back through IRC/Discord logs, you can wipe the evil bad bad coaldust from their name, sorry?

Also I'm a relatively new coalie, but I've heard about Morbane anonfailing and they're not on the list. Does anyone remember what happened here?

anon: Okay, based on the four comments so far, I'd say the evidence post needs a basic form that goes something like,

Because so far, these comments are bogged down in info completely irrelevant to the point of the exercise, which is, make an argument for your fandom for Yuletide. Whether Cardinal Richelieu was interesting or boring makes no difference whatsoever with regard to his eligibility for Yuletide.

I pity the mods.

AYRT might be interested in this pairing in canon, since the killing thing is canonical, and the fic doesn't seem to be badly written, so they could probably read it and enjoy it if they can dissociate it from the wank.

(Shay, though, is a fucking asshole, and I hope she gets many hits but no comments, kudos, or treats whatsoever. A mod reprimand would also be nice if you're still here, Morbane.)

someone wrote a DNW fic. coal caught it and called it out

morbane, who is on coal, or one of the other mods somehow caught wind if this wank (either from coal or the recip complained) and rather than solicit a APH they let the author edit it

the author edited it in a way that still hit the DNW if you knew the fandom but wasnt so blatant

coalies complained about this and were like wow i hope the mods told off the author at least since they did nothing to help the recip. why do mods always side with bad faith authors rather than assisting good faith recips????

morbane anonfailed while playing devils advocate/mod sympathizer in saying that the mods can’t do anything because the author sucks and woe poor recips. even though we know the mods therefore knew the DNW fix had not been real and could still have tried to get them a APH and/or banned the recip for breaking the rules twice by writing a DNW and lying to the mods about fixing it

I definitely anonfailed here once (and am on the list for it) but also there was that year when people were making coal/dentist references in their letters, so we could make a list of coalies to treat, and we compiled a list at that time. So many names could be gathered from that as well.
