Yep! Any character or worldbuilding. You can DNW a small number of characters if it wouldn't hedge your writer in.

da - *Can* you DNW characters on a no-characters fandom? You can with a worldbuilding request, definitely. You can't DNW nominated characters on an Any request, since your writer might have matched on them. Although I guess by definition a no-characters fandom doesn't have any nominated characters to match on, so it would be fine?

It might depend on the fandom? The faq's say DNWs have to be reasonable and you can't use optional details to demand a specific story. So if Harry Potter were nominated without characters and you DNW Harry, ok, there's a ton of other characters and the world to write fic about. But a 5-min fandom like Botticelli's The Birth of Venus is nominated w/o characters and you DNW Venus, that'd be more unreasonable in my mind.

But I'm not a mod, so idk.
