I'd actually make a case for that, because it's so cut off from the rest of the canon, and T'Challa wasn't in Infinity War a lot. And the top ships in the character tag are James "Bucky" Barnes/Steve Rogers (1652), Pepper Potts/Tony Stark (754) and Steve Rogers/Tony Stark, which indicates he's mostly an overtagged background character.

Same thing with Captain Marvel, except that's got a stronger case since it's a prequel and Carol wasn't in most of Endgame. I know people get annoyed at "oh you're trying to get MCU in to Yuletide," but it's frustrating if you do want to read something about pre-IW Wakanda that isn't Bucky herding goats, or fic about Carol set in the 80s and 90s, and instead you get T'Challa/Tony Stark fics.

I think the evidence post on the comm is about a run of the comic, but you're saying that you think even Black Panther MCU should be nominated?

Captain Marvel (movie) has fewer than 1k works across the two platforms with filters applied, and the mods already said they would approve it.

Black Panther (movie) has over 1k works, but that's irrelevant anyway, because the evidence post is for the comics. IMO the evidence poster would have been better off spending a lot less time arguing why the comics are different from the MCU and a lot more arguing why the run of comics they want is distinct enough to be nominated on its own vs being lumped in with "Black Panther (Comics).'

If you do that "summary:character" trick with T'Challa, fics in that tag drop from 4160 to 638.
