It's the combo of "no unrequested pairings" and "no M/M or F/F pairings" that makes me raise an eyebrow. They already DNW'd all unrequested pairings, so why the need to reiterate M/M and F/F specifically?

How many wanks have we seen about people getting something that //technically// wasn't hitting a DNW? Now we're criticizing people for DNWing things they don't want from every possible angle?

NC

What you choose to be redundant about says something about your priorities. That’s pretty fundamental to how we interpret text. Imagine: “no focus on characters not requested, no focus on Asian characters.” Or: “no identity headcanons, no buff men as queer.”

I’ve seen worse, though. There’s someone who does exchanges (but not Yuletide) who makes a point of saying that they don’t like M/M or F/F pairings across the board, though they’re willing to write them. For some reason that sketches me out more.

No, we're criticising them for being a homophobe.

Why'd you jump to homophobe instead of transphobe?
