Depends entirely on how much I'd written to be honest.

I've received 2k fic in exchanges where I've written 2k and it was great. I've also received 1k fic in exchanges where I've written 9k and I was disappointed. I know it's no my writer's fault and that I'm being unreasonable but that's just how it be.

For me, it depends both on my own output and how much I'm used to receiving in this exchange (or in the fandom in question). If I matched on the same fandom I did received 10k of longfic last year and now I get 1k, I'm probably going to be disappointed.

Disappointment has nothing to do with the writer doing anything wrong. It's totally divorced from the writer. I never think of it as "I wish my writer had written longfic/written that other fandom I requested/chose a different one of my prompts".
