I was going to be like "just because they mention x fucks y" in a prompt doesn't mean that's all they want out of coalie paranoia, but then I remembered I have switched in my likes so my author shouldn't assume that phrasing or an example = I'm seme/uke essentialist.

Smut. I just can't do it. And ever single fandom they listed they randomly throw sex in the prompt a few times and I'm one big NOPE.

The characters we matched on are friends in canon and used to be a couple. One of their prompts is about them getting back together, but I just can't break up the canon couple I ship for it.

Luckily, my recipients also wants pre-canon and post canon friendship for them, and that I can do.

I'm also not going to write them smut, since they like kinky smut and I'm lucky if I manage to write non-kinky sex.

AUs

Fic focus in [identity] based themes. I don't think they are asking for issue fic, and I actually am [identity], but I still don't feel like I have any idea what such a fic would be.

Events outside the current installment of canon. I appreciate having the option, but I have no interest in writing what your requested character has been doing during the too-big-for-Yuletide prequel because their character development really only sets in during the canon we matched on.

Smut because for that specific ship they DNW anything but slowburn smut. I'm really disappointed even though I understand where my recip is coming from.
