Either deeply weird hurt/comfort with a side of worldbuilding or schmoopy fluff with a side of cosmic horror. Or both, if I can figure out how to work them into the same fic.

We spend a lot of time on here complaining about bad DNWs or DNWs that make you want to game away or DNWs that make you less sympathetic to a person, but what DNWs have you seen that make you immediately like the person more and feel better about writing fic for them, because they clearly have correct opinions?

One of the five minute fandoms I was looking at this year had somebody DNWing "torture that actually works to get information" which is also top 10% of things I very much hate in stories! I suddenly want to write for them more.

A lot of people in exchanges DNW pregnancy and children, but it's not impossible to write 1k of fic without them, even if they're not a niche thing in IRL society.

Torture does work to get information from most people, and in most cases it will be fairly accurate information. The problem with torture is that it's torture, not its effectiveness as an interrogation technique.

There was wank over someone DNWing characters in historical canons using modern slang, but I'm in full agreement.

In this case, you don't write f/f because they didn't ask for it, coalie just misread.

You write m/m because in the specific noncon underage prompt, they said that "how that would even work" in historical Poland (I think? Historical Ukraine?) was their exception to DNW queer themes.
