The good: I got lucky and I think my author tackled the one prompt I was enthusiastic enough about that it was the deciding factor for me to sign up!

The bad: I'm worried I hyped myself up for it and will be too picky about how it's executed.

The sort of neutral: Honestly I'm just burned out on everything and finding it hard to enjoy things in general. I don't know if I'll love my gift when I open it, but I'll be appreciative, and what I really hope is that I read it again in a few months and fall in love properly.

It is the fandom I am less enthusiastic about than the other two, but I was kind of expecting that part. There aren't any additional tags, so... no idea?

Pretty good! It's admittedly not the fandom I was most hoping I'd be matched for, but still one I'm very excited about.
It's a relatively short story, but I noticed the author expanded it with more words since it was last posted, which I appreciate - and the few tags there are make it sound absolutely juicy, and like I'll really appreciate it.

(Though, honestly, I'm most excited about my own gift this year, because the recipient is someone whose works I love. Still hyped for my own gift, and planning to shower the author with appreciation, but even if my gift had been lacklustre, I'd still be having a great time.)

Kinda excited! Certainly not low. In my requests I included an idea/prompt that I made up on the spot, but I typed it and was like "actually that sounds interesting now that I've said it, so..." and of course I can't be 100% sure but based on the limited tags that I can see it feels the author read that and went "yeah actually that is interesting what's your fav ship for this fandom again?" because that looks like what I'm getting.

I am cautiously optimistic! My author posted basically four seconds before deadline, but they seem to be editing the story this week.

Mostly high. Not exceptionally high because of the minimal tags, but it looks like I'm getting a good amount of words about a tiny ship I love, so I'm happy!
I secretly hope that the author will update the rating from T to E, but it's fine if it doesn't happen.

Medium low. It’s a reasonable length, but I also foolishly wrote a letter which invited a trope which, the last time I asked for it, got me a couple treats that were fine and well-intended but super not my vibe. I’m worried my letter wasn’t specific enough, but I will try to write a really nice comment even if it’s an id mismatch because I appreciate them going for it.

The tags aren't hugely exciting in themselves - it looks like a POV shift of canon - but it's the POV of a character who doesn't get very much attention in canon or fanfic (and none from their POV) so I'm actually rather happy my writer chose to do an introspective fic for them.

Medium, leaning towards high rather than low. It's minimally tagged, but I got my ship! And short, but I'm a fan of short fic, so I'm hopeful it'll work out for me!
