My gift was posted just before deadline and is only a couple of words over the minimum, which doesn't bode well for the quality. On the other hand it's for my 'I'll read ANYTHING' OTP so unless it's 1003 words of them sitting around eating their own toenails I'm pretty psyched for it.

I'm excited for my fandom (tiny, single-digits), which has multiple fics this yuletide! The writers are allergic to additional tags, but tiny fandom is getting it's first canon divergence AU!

I have a guess about who my author is, yes. If I'm right, the fic is likely to be fine, but not more than fine. I'm still very happy to get these characters.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to checking out the Eye Candy fic. I haven't really gone through the fandom tag page yet; I only do that once the collection reveals, but I always shake my gift.

Yep.

In my exchanges people keep nominating original works and original characters despite the rules stating very clearly this isn't allowed, then they get mad. There are two original works exchanges over there. Go participate in those.

That’s similar to how I posted mine but that was just to meet the deadline; it’s already getting significantly more added to it and will be a much better story by next week. Some of us just have deadline-induced executive dysfunction!

Meanwhile my gift posted weeks ago is still tagged not beta-read so I guess that’s how we’re rolling, but there’s an iddy tag on it that gives me hope!
